City Link's Merger Conference
This was the event of the year for City Link as this was the merging of Target into the business. Based at the Celtic Manor in Wales, it housed 300+ delegates for dinner, conference and evening entertainment.
Having worked closely with City Link for quite some time, this was an important event for City Link as it had to integrate a newly aquired company - Target. Everything from the stage design to the video was created in-house by GRI. With no need to use third party suppliers or bodies, the costs were kept to a minimum, while keeping value for money at a maximum.
The theme was based around James Bond. The City Link logo was adapted to look like the Bond logo and a Sean Connery lookalike was hired to present the main parts of the show.
An incredible Freddie Mercury impersonater was hired to sing the motivating theme live to open the show with a bang (See the video below).
